We’re looking for a Go/Python Software Engineer to help build Gen-AI applications for the energy industry. If you are interested in leveraging cutting-edge techniques to build APIs and complex data pipelines with end-to-end ownership of the features you build alongside a team of some of the best engineers in the energy industry, then you will love working with us. We are looking for a developer with a natural curiosity, and preferably someone who has full stack experience and a willingness to pick up additional skills on the job

The Team: You will join our software engineering team which focuses on the forefront of innovation in the energy industry. Here, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative and agile group dedicated to prototyping and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to develop new products and solutions. What you will do:

  • Develop robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Go/Python and integrate them with various AWS services.

  • Design, build, and maintain data processing pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Lambda.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and AWS architecture principles.

  • Write maintainable code, working in a professional agile software engineering environment (source control, shortened release cycles, continuous integration/deployment, etc.)

  • Optimize application performance and scalability by fine-tuning AWS resources and leveraging advanced Go/Python programming techniques.

    What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer.

  • Excellent with Go, Python, Relational DBs, Source Control and CI/CD.

  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch.

  • Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms - Demonstrated skill in the effective application and implementation of diverse data structures and algorithms, complemented by strong mathematical problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with an advanced English level.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team on assigned projects and tasks with general supervision.

  • Ability to prioritize, raise issues and resolve tough problems in a timely fashion to meet business deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, task-oriented personality with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.

  • Experience with Gen-AI techniques is a bonus.
