Infrastructure Architect - ServiceNow
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Acting as a direct single point of contact (SPOC) for the key stakeholders from the business side.
- Protecting and communicating with management and outside stakeholders (helps to protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work).
- Reporting to the stakeholders (at least in the sprint review) the current progress, velocity and completed tasks (measurement).
- Might be joining the daily SCRUM meetings to stay informed (passive role).
- Working on responsibilities ideally at the beginning and the end of the sprint (does not change the sprint content once started).
- Working closely with the release management to define sprints and capacity plans.
- Being responsible for Risk Management.
- Preparing training & doing onboarding management for the platform.
Technical Architecture Services:
- To provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.
- Assessing architecture and solution designs to support Customer’s objectives including alignment with ServiceNow implementation best practices.
- Engaging with the stakeholders to design and build solutions built within the ServiceNow platform.
- To provide guidance on ServiceNow development best practices to stay OOTB.
- To perform assessments and evaluations of existing ServiceNow implementation, offering recommendations for improvements.
- To ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
- Years of experience in ServiceNow Implementation for Delivery Management services.
- ServiceNow certification is mandatory.
- The full understanding of the functional and technical features of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM and HRSD.
- Basic knowledge in test case definition & test automation with ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities (e.g. ATF).
- Knowledge of the latest ServiceNow release capabilities.
- Proven experience with large ServiceNow project/implementations (e.g. ServiceNow instances of at least 10k users) in the ITSM/ITOM domains and additional ServiceNow modules like ITBM, GRC, HR and Integration Hub. Emphasis on technical and functional know-how (ability to write technical requirements, understand IT Landscape dependencies, suggest out-of-the-box functionality & features, work with ServiceNow development framework…etc.).
- The ability to work in an agile mode with full understanding of its implications in terms of roles and responsibilities. A proven track record with Agile environments is key.
