Senior Auditor

Our client is a leading global consumer goods firm with a diverse portfolio of well-known brands. They specialise in products ranging from household items to outdoor equipment and writing instruments. They are committed to enhancing everyday moments for consumers through innovative and reliable products. They have a significant presence in various regions, including Europe, where they manage operations and support functions.

They seek top talent to execute a dynamic risk-based audit plan, identifying value-added recommendations for enhancing their organisation's processes and controls. As a Senior Auditor, you’ll collaborate within a team, conducting audits across worldwide operations, subsidiaries, strategic initiatives, and third-party outsourcing arrangements. These engagements cover financial, operational, and compliance aspects, including SOX testing. Throughout your work, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with senior management.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in audit/accountancy within a multinational organisation.
• Degree level education, preferably with an MBA or other advanced degree.
• Professional accountancy qualification or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with statutory accounts preparation.
• Understanding of EU business laws and regulations, including GDPR.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Familiarity with SOX and internal controls (ERP & Financial Systems knowledge a plus).
• Demonstrates teamwork, strong ethics, and willingness to travel (25 - 30% of the time).

    As a Senior Auditor, you’ll assess business processes, evaluate control environments, and design effective audit approaches. You’ll develop audit programs, identify recommendations to enhance controls, collaborate with management, and prepare clear audit reports.
