W Prague will feature 161 rooms and suites, a rooftop bar and an outdoor terrace, the perfect location for style-savvy locals and guests to enjoy sweeping cityscape views and a fabulous cocktail and culinary experience. The hotel will feature the W Lounge, the brand’s spin on the hotel lobby, along with several restaurants and bars and some ultra-modern event space. In addition, guests are invited to experience the indoor WET pool deck, FIT fitness center and AWAY Spa. Throughout the hotel, the brand’s unique Whatever/Whenever service is always available, delivering whatever they want, whenever they want it.

JOB SUMMARY
Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues. Assist hiring managers/supervisors in monitoring compliance with all local and state laws, regulations, company policies, and standards. Provide essential support to the HR Officer, contributing to the implementation of HR strategies and policies. Additionally, dedicate 30% of the time as the Assistant to the General Manager, ensuring seamless administrative support. This dual role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of navigating both HR functions and executive assistance. Coordinate reference checks, background checks. Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter Talent and job-related data into Human Resources Systems. Assist with the orientation of new Talent. Ensure accurate maintenance of all Talent records and files, e.g., interview documents. Inform Human Resources management of issues related to Talent relations within the property.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Talent. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the supervisor.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
General Human Resources
Collaborate with the HR Officer to execute HR strategies and initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Actively contribute to Internal communication and Employer branding.
Cooperate with other HR Team members in organizing Talent Activations.
Oversee Talent onboarding and assist with orientation processes.
Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to comply with local and state laws and company policies and standards.
Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
Coordinate reference checks, background checks by company procedures.
Communicate to all applicants receiving a job offer the documentation required to bring on the first day of employment.
Create a new Talent personnel file, follow all requested procedures for hourly and managerial positions.
Participate in the recruitment process, coordinating interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and contributing to hiring decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions.
Serve as a point of contact for Talent inquiries, providing assistance and guidance.
Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and address Talent concerns.
Maintain HR databases and Talent records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Generate reports and analytics for HR Officer and General Manager's review.
Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs for Talent.
Track Talent training progress and maintain relevant records
Communications and Relations
Inform Human Resources management of issues related to Talent relations within the division or property.
Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues.
Speak to co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
Assistant to General Manager (30% of Time):
Provide administrative support to the General Manager, managing schedules, and coordinating appointments.
Day-to-day support to the General Manager.
Assist in special projects and initiatives as directed by the General Manager.
Working with others
Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
Handle sensitive issues with Talent and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Safety and Security
Report work-related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
Czech and English language is required
Proven experience in HR coordination or administration.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with HR software and systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
