The Product & Services Team is part of the Intelligent Data Management organization in PDT. We play a vital role in delivering trusted data to the business through giving data purpose, establishing data standards with the Business Process Owner and ensuring that data flows are managed across the entire SAP process and system landscape. This is the foundation on which the team operates.

It is a diverse team consisting of Product Managers who drive mainly strategic topics and contribute to critical projects; Product Managers work hand in hand with IT Product Owners by conducting root cause analysis and implementation of data quality rule and data operations colleague working on day to day business issues via central shared service framework.

The synergies are evident – since all people in this team, work towards an aligned strategy and closely collaborate to get business critical issues solved and by those individual jobs delivered.

Summary & Role Information

Our newly established Center of Excellence (CoE) Commercialization aims to standardize and harmonize the process of Commercialization across all Cloud Product units within SAP. We are looking for you as a team member, that understands the way how SAP runs future commercialization, you should act as our voice that communicates and convinces the Product Units to adapt the concepts and support the hands-on transfer of the Product Units requirements to products, structures, and pricing in our commercialization system, ready for business. The process should be a closed loop, we expect you to understand demands needed and not covered so far, so that we can improve the way we are commercializing over time.

We need you as a colleague who is shaping sustainable structures, rules and guardrails in that matter to be developed together with our recipients and with a responsible, critical, and patient attitude.

We need self-developing and -reflecting team players who have good grounding, i.e. who have already gained extensive experience in Commercialization – means in today's Solution/Product Management, or in Go-To-Market – and who want to patiently earn the trust of our recipients and the empowerment of our management in the above-mentioned areas in a warm-hearted but honest and direct manner.

What You'll Bring

• Several years experience working in the software industry in Business Process Management, Master Data Management, Commercialization teams
• Basic business process knowledge, ideally commercialization process (getting a Product on the Pricelist) and Lead to Report process in general
• Knowledge on full Sales cycle
• Business management skills in product and price modeling
• Technical expertise as end user in the application of SAP's Advanced Variant Configuration and Pricing
• Good understanding of the as-is data and enterprise architecture
• High level of enthusiasm for devising new scenarios, investigating, prototyping and operationalizing; ability to understand and structure complex situations
• Fluency in English
• Experience of working in dynamic cross functional environment
• Ability to work with a variety of teams and people in matrix organization
• Hands-on experience and use of SAP systems and reporting tools is beneficial
