Electromechanical Engineer

Join our team as an Electromechanical Engineer for XPS and contribute to the design, creation, and technical support of XPS spectrometry. Collaborate with Operations Engineering team and production to optimize production, implement engineering changes, and communicate with suppliers from an electromechanical perspective.
About the Role- Design and create XPS spectrometry systems in collaboration with Operations Engineering team and production.
- Supervise product quality, optimize production processes, and implement engineering changes.
- Communicate with suppliers from an electromechanical perspective.
- Solve complex tasks while cooperating with other departments, mainly production, development, and service.
- Work alongside other production engineering team members and collaborate with several departments (R&D, production, sourcing, service) to bring fresh, up-to-date, and innovative ideas to customers.
- Resolve problems encountered during manufacturing, investigate and analyze customer service problems, and propose solutions.
- Search for solutions to improve product quality and optimize production processes.
- Suggest design improvements based on recent technical knowledge and submit engineering change requests.
- Maintain test equipment at suppliers and in production, and design and implement changes as needed.
- University degree in a technical field (mechanics or precision mechanics), or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
- Good general technical overview, dexterity, ability to solve things in a team, but also independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient English.
- Good communication skills and desire for further development.
- Ability to acquire a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as required (up to 25% of working time).
