About the Role

The Local Statutory Reporting (LSR) team is responsible for preparing local statutory financial statements for SAP subsidiaries. This role is part of the Local Accounting and Reporting (LAR) organization, which is responsible for the overall financial accounting and reporting of SAP's subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare IFRS and/or local GAAP financial statements and notes, management reports, and other related documents required for local statutory reporting.
  • Identify, calculate, and post all necessary GAAP or timing adjustments to obtain the local statutory trial balance.
  • Manage the external audit of the statutory financial statements.
  • Focus on automation and standardization when preparing the financial statements for SAP's subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with at least 4 to 6 years of experience in preparing and/or auditing financial statements.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or any other local GAAP.
  • Very good English language skills, additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP ERP a plus.
