The role expectations:

  • Have deep Data Science expertise: The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience with applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations, such that they can efficiently and effectively advise multiple teams on the best path to uncovering critical insights for clients.
  • An autonomous self-starter with a passion for analytics and problem solving. You will help build new Analytics service offerings that grow our portfolio of products and will captures proprietary content, and support the creation of proposal/selling documents.
  • Strong presence, strong collaborator and leadership skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization are a must.
  • Love building things and are comfortable working with modern development tools
  • Have a proven ability to synthesize complex data; as well as a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, and are able to translate this into business implications for our clients
  • Take an active role in the leadership of the innovation in the Data Analytics/Data Science space, primarily innovating business processes through use of the innovative technologies
  • Mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues in the team as well as other business partners in the space of Data Science opportunities

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Hands on programming/scripting experience in Python, Scala, or R.
    • Expertise in PySpark/Scala is a plus.
  • Confident statistical and machine learning skills
  • Strong experience with practical data science and hands-on involvement with deployed ML pipelines in a business environment
  • Relevant SQL skills
  • Team player with great communication skills and willing to help the other team members
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Min 4 years experience working as a Data Scientist
  • Proven experience leading the teams (line or project) or with mentorship of the less experienced colleagues
  • Ability to innovate and lead innovative initiatives – ideally on both, technical and business process side.
  • Fluency in English are required
