Based in the Global Animal Health Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Data Science team is looking for a Biostatistician to join our team. The team plays a critical role making data-informed manufacturing decisions spanning all key areas within manufacturing e.g., quality control, maintenance, yield optimization, regulatory filing for new products, and deviation management etc.

As a Biostatistician in the Manufacturing Data Science team, you will perform the following activities:

  • Independently produce data and statistical reports submitted to the regulatory agencies
  • Perform data quality evaluation and statistical analysis
  • Support design of experiments and interpretation of experimental data
  • Support data science investigations/projects within the manufacturing space
  • Upskilling team members and colleagues from Manufacturing on statistical thinking

How we see an ideal candidate:

  • MS or higher, with > 7 years' experience in Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing Space
  • Education background in Mathematics, Statistics, or another related field with a strong emphasis on statistics
  • Thorough understanding of data and analysis requirements for regulatory filings in the manufacturing space
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistical techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), regression analysis, general linear models, and multivariate methods.
  • Track record of applying statistical techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC) in process and analytical domains
  • Proficiency in either R (preferred) or Python
  • Candidates proficient in another statistical computing language ( SAS/Stata/JMP) with a willingness to learn R will also be considered
  • Ability to communicate statistical concepts and analyses to non-statisticians
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Effective time management and stake-holder management skills
  • Working with multiple collaboration DevOps tool such as JIRA, Git and Confluence is a plus
  • Well versed with Agile ways of working
