We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and user-friendly web applications. What you will do

  • Contribute to the frontend development efforts, including frontend architecture design, frontend implementation, and optimization of frontend web applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and develop robust frontend solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, tools, and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Optimize application performance and responsiveness by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing efficient frontend techniques.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and other Agile ceremonies to prioritize tasks, track progress, and deliver timely results.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, tools, and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Frontend Software Engineer, with a strong focus on web application development.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React
  • Proficiency in building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications with a deep understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and state management concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), package managers (e.g., npm), and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
  • A passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience in building accessible web applications.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright -preferred, Jest, Enzyme, Cypress) and automated testing practices.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Contributions to open-source projects, participation in developer communities, or attendance at tech conferences/events.
