Join our Payment Center team and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will monitor all manual payment requests from the organization and perform payments in several different online banking systems. You will act as a gate keeper in order to push as many transactions as possible into the automated payment flow and away from manual payments.

More over, you will:

  • Run the daily operation of the global payment factory (In-House Bank) and securing payments are performed on time, and deal with returned/rejected payments
  • Manage the day-to-day activities in Treasury Back Office; confirm and settle FX forward contracts and FX options. Perform netting and payment based on global cut off times and reconcile incoming Treasury flows and monitor that colleagues understand the processes and follow up on errors
  • Process monthly closing of Treasury system and In-House Bank accounts, as well as bank reconciliation
  • Support and promote a team-work environment and developing team members by sharing functional expertise

This position supports The LEGO Group with consistent, high quality and customer oriented execution of internal and external payments, bank administration and business partners' management, and thereby enables our Business Service Operations (BSO) to succeed in delivering great value to the LEGO organization.

The Payment Center Accountant holds a vital global position, contributing significantly to the support and success of the whole BSO.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven previous working experience from Finance function
  • Experience with payment processes/payment factory in a global company
  • Person driven by achieving goals
  • Communicative, precise and diligent personality, curious to enjoy trouble-shooting and deep-diving into operational challenges around payments as well as brave to push back if needed
  • Estimated travel activity – up to 10 days per year
  • Advanced English, Czech is an advantage
  • What would be appreciated:
  • Knowledge of SAP – preferably SAP In-House Cash module and FSCM Treasury module
  • Experience with global online banking systems and the complex world of global banking with different payment types and cut off time
  • Knowledge of intercompany loans
  • Microsoft Office at experienced level
