Job Title: Commissioning and Testing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning and Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning and testing of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation Phase:
    • Secure the logistic conditions of the mission, including technical documents, tools, and vehicle availability.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of all tests described on the procedure, schematics, and technical documents.
    • Check that testing tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
  • Before Starting the Commissioning Activities:
    • In agreement with the site manager, ensure that safety rules for working are met.
    • Supervise the installation work and coordinate activities while ensuring compliance with installation and safety instructions.
  • Execution Phase:
    • Carry out tests in accordance with the procedures.
    • In the event of a problem, inform the PrFOM and decide on further actions.
    • Replace defective equipment and ensure it's replaced in accordance with Alstom processes.
    • Recommission the new part and follow-up on any non-compliance until it's fully closed.
    • Perform all activities in QCD, respecting the budget and finding solutions to decrease time.
  • Outputs:
    • Perform the reporting of all activities.
    • Establish and classify a commissioning or intervention report, including evidences and punch list, validated by the PrFOM.

Performance Measurements:

  • Efficiency and proactivity during the execution of the commissioning tests.
  • Compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards.
  • Quality of anticipation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Communication to customer or operator representatives.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Technical bachelor's degree in electronics or electricity or equivalent experience in a function in the industrial environment.
  • Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken).

Desirable:

  • Railway and signaling knowledge.
  • Any other additional language is an asset.

  • Able to work in cooperation with different stakeholders.
  • Resilience and positive attitude to emergencies.
  • Flexibility and mobility, available for short or long missions in different locations and countries.
  • Communicate in a factual and synthetic manner the information necessary for the conduct of the activity.
  • Writing skills: clarity, rigor, and concision.
  • Available to work at night, during weekends, and on public holidays.
  • Driving license.
