WasteTracker is a Warsaw based PropTech startup, founded and bootstrapped by smart building experts: Renata Hartle and Tomasz Felczyk. Our company created the first smart waste meter in Europe which helps commercial building owners and tenants to register, report, and reduce operational waste.

Within the first year of operations, we secured over 1 mln SQ meters of buildings that register, report, and reduce waste with us. We grow quick and smart. Our team is lean, and built of the best talent in the market, which happens to also have great personalities to work with.

As Senior Developer you will:

  • Drive further our main product development - waste measurement platform - solving the complex programming issues in TypeScript
  • Developed internal tools and integrations between them and CRM, PRM, and WMS systems
  • Work closely with the CTO and customer team
  • Use the latest and greatest technologies focused on DX and productivity (keep focus on product, not infrastructure)
  • Make an impact on a global waste problem

You are the right candidate if you are:

  • A TypeScript expert with an extensive knowledge and an expertise in modern frameworks (Elysia, Hono, Next.js), libraries and runtimes (Bun, Deno).
  • Experienced in event driven, serverless environments
  • Great API designer
  • Automation obsessed
  • Driven towards learning new technologies and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Able to quickly gain new technical expertise
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player

Our tech stack:

  • Front-end: TypeScript, React, Vite, Tanstack Router, Tanstack Query, tRPC, Clerk, React Native (Android only)
  • Back-end: Next.js, Elysia.js, PostgreSQL, Drizzle, MongoDB (legacy), Resend, tRPC, Typebox
  • Embedded: C, ARM architecture, USB HID protocol
