What You Bring:
  • 10+ yrs of total backend software development experience incl. testing

Accounting is the universal language of business and commerce, in every country, state, and city across the world. It is incredibly fascinating, highly logical and challengingly complex.

Yet, accountants have been largely neglected by the tech industry. Most of today’s accounting software was built on ancient codebases over 20 years ago and moves as slow as an oil tanker.

This lack of tools has accountants overwhelmed and led to a bad reputation- don’t you dread speaking with your ‘bean-counting’ colleagues from the Finance team?

But with AI, we can now build a 10x better product that automates 75%+ of the accountant’s tasks, allowing them to focus on driving business insights rather than playing catch-up with last month’s financials.

Our Founders:

Our Founders started their previous company after meeting while coding in Computer Science class. With just $2,000 in savings, the two bootstrapped their first company to $25 million in ARR - and profitably - in just 5 years. They then raised $325 million of venture funding, rapidly scaling the business to 250+ people, >$100 million in ARR and an exit. With DualEntry, they have now decided to tackle their biggest pain point from their first 8-year journey of entrepreneurship: outdated accounting systems.
