Skills and attributes for success 

  • Must have hands-on experience in Banking domain - Retail, Corporate, Internet Banking, Mobile banking, Wealth management, Payment suites etc. 
  • Must be an expert in core technical skills: Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring boot Microservices, Web Service (Rest & SOAP), Apache Camel - CXF, Kafka. 
  • Nice to have a hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (at least one) – AWS, Azure, GCP. 
  • Ability to design and provide solutions for external integrations 
  • Ability to understand the Core Banking architecture, administration, configuration, data structure. 

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification. 
  • 9+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Excellent business communication skills. 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud, Angular, React. 
  • Business certificates proving banking domain knowledge and experience 
  • Good understanding and experience in agile / scrum methodology. 
  • Experience in client facing roles. 
  • German, French or Spanish language skills (nice to have)

As a Java Architect in BCM (Banking and Capital Markets) Consulting you will participate in various streams of BCM projects, collaborate with agile team members in order to achieve project and client goals and be a part of Business Transformations.
