Requirements

  • Education: Higher education in finance, accounting, or related fields 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Polish accounting, including roles as an independent accountant or senior accountant 
  • Accounting Systems Knowledge: Proficient in accounting systems (SAP), advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills 
  • Languages: Polish native, advanced English 
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards 
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure 
  • Attention to Detail: high level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance 
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines 
  • Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills with the team and management 
  • Ethical Standards: strong sense of integrity and adherence to ethical standards in financial management

,[As a Finance and Accounting Senior Specialist you will support Chief Accountant in overseeing the entire accounting function and ensuring compliance with local and international standards. You will take part in audit, preparation of financial statements and take an active role in process improvements. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting and taxes, along with strong organizational and communication skills., Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance , Ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations , Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes , Approving and making recurring and non-recurring journal entries, e.g. inventory, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write offs, taxes, , Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy , Offering guidance and support to junior accounting staff , Assist during internal and external financial and tax audits by providing documentation and explanations , Participation in reporting of statistical data to external institutions , Assist in preparation VAT, Intrastat other Tax Related reports , Proactively suggest recommendations and ideas to deliver continuous process improvement , Participating in the implementation and upkeep of ERP system , Automation of the accounting process (including, banks, interest) , Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses , Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments , Preparation of payment statements: accounts payable and accounts receivable , Perform other accounting duties as assigned ] Requirements: Accounting, Audit, Communication skills, Audits, ERP, SAP, Excel, Analytical skills Additionally: Sport Subscription, Flexible working hours, Private healthcare, Lunch card, Free coffee, Bike parking, Mobile phone, No dress code, Modern office, Free parking.
