English teacher

ILC International House Brno, language school, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated freelance teachers of English to join us from September 2024.

Requirements:

• Have CELTA, Trinity TESOL (or equivalent) or be enrolled in a pedagogical program.
• Commit to teaching for us for 2 full school years*.
• Commit to teaching 12+ teaching hours a week (a teaching hour is 45 minutes).
• Have full mastery (CEFR C1 level) of English across all 4 skills**.
• Be ready to teach a range of age groups (young learners, company classes, 1-2-1) and level (A2-C1).
• Be interested in and committed to their own development as a teacher.
• Ideally have some prior teaching experience.

The ideal candidate should:

Have a responsible outlook.
Be able to work independently and also as a supportive member of a teaching team.
Understand that teaching is hard work but ultimately very rewarding.
Be excited about teaching languages.

Renumeration:

The hourly rate is on a sliding scale and depends on the candidate’s experience, qualifications and range of teaching competencies. This will be discussed with successful candidates.
