Expert Application and Technology Management (f/m/d) What awaits you

Coordination, control and implementation of z/OS system programming tasks and support for BMC AMI OPs, as well as Control-M system operation

Carrying out administrative tasks in defined processes such as

• z/OS: Good knowledge of the z/OS operating system and extensive experience in system operation and troubleshooting
• BMC AMI Ops:
  • Installation, administration and operation of the BMC AMI Ops Suite and the BMC Auto Operator
  • Automation and monitoring in parallel Sysplex
  • Monitoring, detection and elimination of faults and bottlenecks in the described infrastructures
  • Processing and documenting incidents and problems, monitoring service performance and ongoing optimization as part of event management
• BMC Control-M: installation, administration and system operation, technical system consulting for the teams responsible for batch operation (scheduling)
• Basic knowledge of installation of and migration to new z/OS releases and proactive maintenance (RSU refreshes) as well as maintenance on demand, dump analysis if necessary
• Communication Server: Basic knowledge of TCPIP, VTAM, PAGENT etc. Configuration, dynamic changes etc., including encrypted connections
• DFSMS/DFSMShsm Basic knowledge of SMS configuration and disk management with DFSMShsm

Service design and build

• Support in the deployment/further development of z/OS and BMC products, taking into account functional and non-functional requirements
• Preparation and implementation of changes to z/OS and BMC products, also during operation

Change, problem and incident management

• Analysis of problem situations, troubleshooting and 2nd level support, initiating escalations if necessary
• Systematizing errors, initiating the improvement process for error prevention
• Carrying out root cause analyses in collaboration with other internal and external specialists, IT performance management

Consulting and project work

• You support IT development projects with consulting and conception services for infrastructure-relevant requirements as well as with the testing and evaluation of component definitions
• You will develop concepts and solutions to continuously modernize our system landscape as part of our LifeCycle Management
• You actively operate and shape the further development of our IT infrastructure

What you bring with you

• Completed university degree (diploma or master's degree) in the field of IT and telecommunications or banking or a comparable qualification, supplemented by several years of relevant professional experience in a similar environment.
• You speak fluent German (C1 level)
• You enjoy working in a team
