Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Camunda 8 Platform Engineer to lead the migration and modernization of critical insurance workflows. This role focuses on transforming existing insurance processes into modern, cloud-native workflow solutions using Camunda 8 Platform. Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and execute migration strategy from existing systems to Camunda 8Design and implement insurance-specific workflow solutions using Zeebe engineGuide development teams in Camunda 8 best practicesEnsure compliance with insurance industry regulationsEstablish best practices for process modeling and implementationDesign high-availability solutions for mission-critical insurance workflowsImplement monitoring and alerting for business-critical processesOptimize workflow performance and resource utilization

Technical RequirementsDeep expertise in Camunda 8 Platform and Zeebe engineAdvanced knowledge of BPMN 2.0 modeling and implementationStrong background in cloud-native architecturesExpertise in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C#Experience with Camunda Operate and Optimize toolsProficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platformsKnowledge of message brokers (Kafka preferred)REST API design and implementation experience Required Experience5+ years in software development2+ years working with workflow enginesProven experience in insurance domainExperience with large-scale migrations Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience with Camunda 7Experience with DMN decision modelingBackground in process miningKnowledge of insurance compliance requirementsWe offer a collaborative team setting, hybrid work model (2x /month in the office in Prague/Brno/Ostrava/Pardubice), and opportunity to shape workflow automation strategies in the insurance industry.
