Chief Accountant

Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Czechia, responsible for Arrow Czech Republic and Arrow Slovakia

What will you be responsible for regarding both companies?
  • Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements
  • Preparation of annual tax returns in collaboration with internal and external tax advisors
  • Cooperation with external auditors, tax and public authorities;
  • Monthly advance VAT return
  • Calculation and booking of accruals
  • Payroll postings
  • Booking period end closing and tax calculation
  • Creation and approve of money transfer
  • Treasury calculation
  • Internal reporting and support to Controlling, Tax, General Administration, Legal Departments;
  • Supporting payroll
  • General administration tasks in connection with the different sales offices
  • Managing 1 direct report


Who You Are?
  • You have more than 4 years of related experience, preferably as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant.
  • You good knowledge in MS Excel; previous experience with Oracle is an asset.
  • You pay meticulous attention to details.
  • You have strong communication skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • You are fluent in Czech and proficient in English.
  • You have previous experience with US-GAAP reporting (a great plus).
