Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining existing services, such as bug fixes, security updates, and improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript.
  • Building new APIs and web applications.
  • Migrating legacy services to new technologies.
  • Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web).
  • Running user profile services to store and manage user data.
  • Collaborating with UX Designers to challenge hard-to-implement design elements and agree on lower-effort alternatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency with React and TypeScript for web application development over the last 1-2 years.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript event handling.
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills.
  • Fluent English (at least Upper-Intermediate level).

Desirable Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience would be beneficial:

  • Experience with Docker/containers and AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with Kafka and AWS.
  • Experience with Java/Spring Boot for building APIs and web applications.
  • Experience with REST.
  • Previous work experience with relational databases and DynamoDB.
