We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join our MetaBase team. As a key member of this cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in implementing a new ontology domain into our Knowledge Base product, enhancing its capabilities to provide medical support to patients worldwide.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data models that meet business requirements. Your expertise in data modeling, ontologies, and semantic technologies will enable us to develop a scalable and maintainable knowledge base that supports accurate medical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality data models using OWL and RDF
  • Collaborate with product designers, developers, and medical experts to ensure data models meet business needs
  • Develop and optimize SPARQL queries to retrieve relevant medical information
  • Work closely with our Interference Core architecture team to integrate new ontology domains
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and data modeling

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience with OWL, RDF, and data modeling
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SPARQL queries
  • Familiarity with rule engines and rule languages such as SWRL or Datalog
  • Experience working with graph databases (e.g., GraphDB)
  • Strong understanding of logic, reasoning, and semantic technologies
  • Fluency in English and Polish, spoken and written
  • Ability to gather and define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
