Business Intelligence Specialist Job Description

A key responsibility of this role is to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, build a network and ensure timely deliverables are produced and complete.

  • Effective communication is crucial in conveying complex information simply and quickly to senior stakeholders who need material facts rapidly.
  • The ability to analyze and develop insights from large datasets for Europe Technology is essential.
  • Daily discipline in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, updating trackers and escalating as needed is vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars for submissions, including reviews from senior stakeholders.
  • Assist the lead in preparing Board papers and regulatory submissions, taking ownership of some submissions directly.
  • Manage scorecards that feed into these submissions, such as TRCB and DORA metrics.
  • Oversee periodic submissions to regulators like the quarterly PRA stocktake.
  • Advocate for a Europe-focused approach on data and materials from Group, challenging Group stakeholders to keep this requirement active.
  • Support the lead with ad-hoc project and programme management demands such as OpRes, TRCB, and periodic capital adequacy assessments.
  • Coordinate logistics for governance meetings, including booking, attendance, minutes, and actions.
  • Track and manage hygiene activities like Pods and Teambook, and mandatory training.
