Lead Our Engineering Team

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our team of engineers and team leads at Secret Sauce Partners, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our engineering culture, leading new feature development, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Engineering team, consisting of engineers and team leads, to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and maintain the team's culture, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Lead new feature development, maintenance, and operation activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • Optimize operational efficiency by effectively managing projects and resources
  • Facilitate design and architecture discussions and decision-making to ensure business requirements are translated into working software systems
  • Collaborate with product management to translate company strategy and goals to the execution level
  • Contribute to strategic planning and conduct 1:1s to support the professional development of team members
  • Foster transparency and open communication among team members and cross-functionally
Requirements:
  • Engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing software engineering teams
  • Strong architecture skills, with a deep understanding of software development processes and principles
  • Excellent operational skills, with experience in agile methodologies and cloud-based SaaS
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business requirements into working software systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
