Job Title: MQ Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced MQ Expert to join our team at Avenga. As an MQ Expert, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of queue servers based on IBM MQ. Your primary focus will be on the MQ layer, ensuring the smooth operation of our messaging infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and development of queue servers based on IBM MQ
  • BAU activities, including tickets, incidents, requests, and changes
  • Implementation of new monitoring tools for the MQ infrastructure
  • Collaboration with the development team to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Design and implementation of high availability environments and Linux/Windows environments
  • Automation and scripting using tools like Ansible
  • Knowledge of devops methodologies and cloud experience (nice-to-have)
