Delivering Exceptional Testing

The role focuses on delivering exceptional planning, documentation and coordination of testing activities to the business.

You will play a critical role in aligning the Bank's change portfolio to reflect regulatory requirements and business priorities.

This includes:

  • Full accountability for the Quality assurance of all testing,
  • Ensuring that all test plans and test execution meets the business and regulatory objectives they were initiated for,
  • Full compliance with all regulatory and scheme requirements,
  • Consideration and mitigation against the introduction of any operational risk.

The Test Manager will be responsible for coordinating testing activities for Payments & GLCM projects. This will include full accountability for quality assurance of all testing and ensuring that all test plans meet the business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage testing across multiple application support streams, ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Create auditable documentation, including test plans, strategies, cases, results, and stakeholder reports.
  • Address and escalate risks or issues identified during testing to ensure proper resolution.
  • Maintain expertise in UK payments testing, including Faster Payments, BACS, Cash, and Cheques.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to execute testing phases with high standards and efficiency.
  • Champion advanced testing methodologies, such as shift-left techniques and test automation, to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Represent testing in project-level meetings, providing updates and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Engage with global teams to share best practices and integrate advanced testing approaches across the organization.
