Job Title: Strategic Financial Analyst

Job Description

The role of a seasoned Business Analyst requires a strong understanding of corporate market financial products, including FX (Spot, Forwards, Options), Debt Markets (Rates, Credit), and Equities (Cash, Structured). The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within Product Control or a related financial function.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to work with financial datasets and derive actionable insights is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English are required.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working independently and managing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills are necessary.
  • Awareness of Agile methodologies and a willingness to deepen knowledge are also required.
Benefits

  • Technical familiarity with SQL, Python, and PowerBI is a plus, although not mandatory.
  • Experience with valuation control functions and fair value measurement (IFRS 13) is desirable.
  • An understanding of accounting standards (IAS 32/39, IFRS 7, IFRS 9) is also beneficial.
  • Exposure to hedge accounting and treasury functions is an advantage.
Nice-to-Have Skills

  • A background in finance, especially in environments handling large volumes of data, is highly valued.
  • The ability to navigate conversations with accounting policy and implementation teams is required.
