As an IT Business System Analyst, you will be part of the IT Data and Analytics organization, supporting the Actionable Data Insight program to build an Enterprise Data Hub using AWS Cloud technologies, AWS Redshift database, and Tableau.

This role bridges the gap between IT Data Relationship Managers and developers, owning functional specification analysis and translating it into technical specifications. You will lead developers to ensure development meets functional and technical specifications, while championing standardization of functional and technical specification documents across all Data Relationship Managers.

Your key responsibilities include leading architecture reviews, ensuring code standards, security, and best practices are followed. You will drive the initiative to standardize, build, and maintain a data dictionary and catalog in Alation across all Data Relationship Managers. Additionally, you will demonstrate cross-functional team leadership, working across a large and matrixed environment, including IT staff members, development partners, consultants, and business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring the data pulled from source systems gets ingested per architectural standards, ensuring the enterprise data hub and Tableau work coherently. As the technical guru, you will guide the EDH Operations team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data ingestion, reports, analytics, Enterprise Data Hub, and Tableau environments.

A successful candidate will have expertise with Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, including implementation experiences using Amazon Redshift and the AWS ecosystem. Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools would be beneficial. You should also have knowledge of Oracle EBS and Fusion Service Contracts, as well as experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, and familiarity with tools like Jira.

This position requires a strong drive to stay current on skills and technology in the master data space. Knowledge of shared data, database pitfalls, and how to avoid them is essential. Experience with ELT methods using a script-based approach is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work through technology.
