Software Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Project Manager to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of software initiatives.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage project execution, communications, and processes for our Engineering team. You will work closely with our Product Managers based in New York, US, to ensure effective communication, planning, and prioritization.

As a trusted advisor, you will act as the communication bridge between Engineering teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all phases of project delivery.

You will be responsible for driving and coordinating day-to-day project execution, managing project timelines, sprint planning, and milestone tracking.

In addition, you will maintain and optimize project workflows in Jira, ensuring tasks are well-scoped, up-to-date, and visible.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the go-to person for updates on development progress, blockers, and delivery risks.
  • Coodinating with multiple internal teams (Engineering, Security, SRE, Product) to ensure blockers are removed quickly and risks are escalated appropriately.
  • Writing and troubleshooting queries to support reporting and analysis (SQL).
  • Understanding and supporting basic scripting needs related to workflow automation and data tasks.
  • Leading process improvements and helping implement light automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual overhead.
  • Developing clear and comprehensive project documentation, including delivery plans, risk registers, and decision logs using Confluence and other collaboration tools.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Continuously improving delivery processes and team productivity by analyzing project metrics and feedback.
