Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading database software and related applications.
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation;
- Managing database security, including user authentication, authorization, and access controls;
- Performing database backups, recovery, and data migration tasks;
- Collaborating with software developers to design and optimize database queries and performance;
- Providing database migrations;
- Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues and incidents on time;
- Maintaining documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures;
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational database management systems, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
AWS experience, particularly with AWS RDS, AWS DMS, AWS Lambda, and AWS Cloud Watch, is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
