  • A strong background in backend development with Java (Spring ecosystem) is necessary to tackle complex software systems and lead a team of engineers.
  • Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API design, as well as implementation skills, is required. Experience with federated GraphQL is an added advantage.
  • Performance troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging tools must be mastered.
  • Message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and caching (e.g., Redis, Memcached) expertise is essential.
  • Proficiency in authentication and authorization mechanisms, especially OAuth 2.0, is required.
  • Skills in Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems challenges, and resilience patterns (e.g., circuit breakers) are crucial.
  • A strong understanding of patterns in distributed systems design is necessary.
  • Code versioning tools like Git must be proficiently used.
  • CI/CD tools and practices require experience.
  • Leadership roles in teams for at least two years are expected.
  • English language proficiency: B2+
  • Strong knowledge of Agile process, roles within the process, and key ceremonies is required.
