Senior Software Developer

As a skilled software professional, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software that meet customer business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming languages – C/C++, Python, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, databases, system, network, and application administration.

You will work closely with a scrum team to develop core software for our PowerStore storage system. Your expertise will contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of complex software solutions using C/C++ and Python
  • Preparation of technical specifications for software products
  • Development and implementation of test strategies for software products and systems
  • Creation of high-quality design, functional, and technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Validated knowledge of programming languages – C/C++, Python
  • Operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration
  • Ability to code/debug sophisticated programs using written or verbal design specifications
  • Knowledge of server, storage, networking, and client technologies as well as software architectures and applications
  • Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages, and operating systems with training and on-the-job experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English
