Job Description

As a Business Expert Intern at Commerzbank, you will be part of the Cluster Risk Models & Calculations team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining group-wide models for credit risk, operational risk, capital requirements, and stress-testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and enhancing risk applications such as credit rating tools and operational risk databases
  • Collaborating closely with software developers to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conducting technical, business, and data quality analyses
  • Leading meetings with stakeholders to analyze risk management and regulatory requirements
  • Solving problems related to business and model operations, and implementing adjustments into the tool and processes
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and good understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, and SQL
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
