Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Avenga. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Education: Possess a Certified AWS Developer certification or equivalent, and a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Have software engineering experience as a Backend developer with expertise in Python and front-end development using ReactJS, HTML/CSS in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Cloud Experience: Over 5 years of experience in developing tools in Python for High-Performance Computing and cloud solutions, with a strong understanding of event-driven architecture and serverless architecture.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience enabling various AWS services using infrastructure as a code (IaC) with Terraform and Python.
  • Cloud Technologies: Proficient in the use of technologies such as EKS, ECS, S3, SQS, SNS, ALB, and familiar with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Cloud Deployment: Working experience with Lambda, Step functions, SQS & SNS (minimum 2 years), and a proven track record of developing multiple software applications in a production environment.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated and passionate about programming and tool development, with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex problems to peers, users, and leadership.
