About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Kotlin/Java Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to innovative projects involving high-security hardware in a dynamic international environment that fosters learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust backend systems using Kotlin and/or Java for our secure IoT solutions.
- Collaborate with our team to implement scalable and secure architecture patterns, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Work closely with our frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Prioritize code quality, security, and performance optimization throughout the development process.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for backend development.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and patterns.
- Experience with on-premise and cloud-based deployments.
- Proficiency in secure coding practices and understanding of security best practices for backend systems.
- Familiarity with scalability strategies and performance optimization in backend services.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
