We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Warsaw or Krakow. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale software platform that underpins the entire corporate credit chain process for a leading international financial institution.

Role Overview

This robust system has been in production since 2019 and is used internally by thousands of employees across 50 countries. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of this critical solution, serving corporate clients and large institutions around the globe.

About the Role
  • Develop software as per project requirements within a multi-year defined roadmap.
  • Work with the team on shaping the software to match user expectations as best as possible.
  • Maintain good quality solutions by focusing on the needs, software quality with good test coverage and code reviews.
  • Perform estimation and planning and proactive status reporting.
  • Be friendly, supportive and share knowledge with other team members.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with back-end technologies such as Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Swagger, IBM MQ, Feign, vavr, JUnit, Hibernate -> Oracle PL/SQL, Liquibase, Maven. Additionally, they should have a good understanding of DevOps principles and tools such as Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment: Bitbucket, Jenkins, sonar, Kubernetes, ELK Stack.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Strong background in back-end development using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Swagger, IBM MQ, Feign, vavr, JUnit, Hibernate -> Oracle PL/SQL, Liquibase, Maven.
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles and tools including Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment: Bitbucket, Jenkins, sonar, Kubernetes, ELK Stack.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment (Scrum) and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

Additional Information

Please note that we require candidates to be present in the office in Warsaw or Krakow at least one day per week, with the remaining time worked remotely within Poland.
