A software engineer responsible for designing and implementing modular software solutions using Python.

This is an opportunity to work on a cross-functional team creating an internal backend product that provides data abstractions for marketing audience selection.

The specialist will join a team working on a legacy system, which is being redesigned and implemented from scratch. The process is in the early stages.

This role involves conceptual and implementation work. The specialist will ensure clean, readable, and maintainable code by writing and reviewing PRs and refactoring existing code.

The focus is on adhering to best practices such as design patterns, existing interfaces, and SOLID principles.

  • Solid knowledge of Python 3 application development
  • Professional experience in object-oriented programming principles
  • Ideal: Practical experience with Domain Driven Design and/or hexagonal architectures
  • Hands-on experience in unit testing, ideally with a Python testing framework
  • Proficient in CI/CD integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing
  • Knowledge in a commercial cloud computing ecosystem, preferably Google Cloud
  • Professional experience in software development teamwork, including code review, collaborative work & agile ways of working
  • Ideal: Familiarity with Next.js and its core concepts & experience with state management libraries

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Python, Domain-Driven Design, unit testing, CI/CD, Google Cloud, and Next.js.
