Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key player, you will contribute to the development of one of our applications in the financial sector. Working with us offers the opportunity to co-create innovative solutions in a scaled environment using cloud-based services (AWS).

Responsibilities
  • Designing manual and automated test scenarios in collaboration with analysts and developers.
  • Performing manual tests during sprints, acceptance, and regression testing.
  • Maintaining quality standards, monitoring key indicators, and collaborating with the team to maintain expected service parameters.
  • Supporting the team in improving the testing process by implementing new tools and work standards.
  • Ongoing communication with clients in English to clarify doubts, report issues, and participate in demos/presentations.
  • Responding to emerging issues in the application (analysis, reporting, collaboration in resolution).
  • Participating in production release planning, including planning and executing tests, coordinating tasks, and communicating with the team.
  • Reporting test results and task progress.
  • Training users and participating in documentation creation when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and ISTQB.
  • Experience in manual testing and knowledge of testing standards and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools.
  • Understanding of web applications, microservices, REST API, and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches and Agile way of work.
  • Excellent communication skills and team work abilities.
