Regulatory Reporting Remediation Specialist

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and traceability of regulatory returns while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the IRR Programme Director for Europe in delivering programme outcomes.
  • Analyse and review processes for preparing regulatory returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate reporting errors, identify root causes, and lead remediation efforts to prevent recurrence.
  • Map and analyse reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and control gaps, recommending improvements.
  • Design and implement control uplifts to reduce risk in the Regulatory reporting process, working closely with BAU teams.
  • Collaborate with Data teams to enable them to document data lineage for Regulatory reporting processes.
  • Track and document remediation plans, including corrective action follow-ups.
Requirements:
  • Risk assessment skills with the ability to propose control enhancements.
  • Understanding of the role of Regulators and of the purpose and context of Regulatory Reporting.
  • Finance and Regulatory audit background desirable.
  • Capability to solve complex problems, initiative to spot improvements, and highly collaborative.
