Key Responsibilities:
- Test and validate email campaigns to ensure they render correctly across various email clients and devices.
- Review and test email templates and designs to ensure they meet the required specifications and render correctly across different platforms and devices.
- Verify the accuracy and functionality of links, images, and other interactive elements within email campaigns.
- Ensure emails are compatible with different web browsers and operating systems.
- Perform spam testing to ensure emails do not get flagged by spam filters and meet industry standards for deliverability.
- Validate and troubleshoot HTML/CSS code used in email templates for any issues or inconsistencies.
- Conduct usability tests to ensure emails are user-friendly and accessible to all recipients, including those with disabilities.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure email campaigns meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and any issues identified during the testing process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA testing, ideally in the email testing.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email-specific coding practices.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., SalesForce, Adobe Campaign, MailChimp).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report bugs and issues.
- Experience with QA testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid) and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
