About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solution Designer to join our team at Schenker Technology Center. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for driving change and delivering solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take charge of the entire demand process, from requirement elicitation and specification to development and final deployment.
  • Accompany the rollout in a European country until the introduction of STAR.
  • Work closely with the Business Architecture department, end users, and software development team to analyze processes, identify gaps, and drive successful rollouts.
  • Proactively set impulses and meet business ambitions by gathering information and elaborating needs.
  • Support, analyze, and test required specifications for correctness and usability.
  • Closely align and collaborate with our Business Unit Land Transport, Application Management, and Solution Architects to improve colleague's day-to-day work.
  • Monitor the success of solutions after implementation and drive continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for actions and create daily agendas to develop solutions meeting demand.
  • Support test activities, including Functional Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Provide input for training material and coordinate expert training with the training team.
  • Configure applications based on country-specific needs and manage data migration.
  • Plan and execute cut-over activities for ECO rollouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Multiple years of experience in logistics, Business Analysis, or IT Demand Management.
  • Technical understanding in large IT environments.
  • Experience working in agile organizations, DevOps environments, and continuous integration setups.
  • Strong intercultural competence, global mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. German and/or Polish or any other European language skills are beneficial.
  • Highly motivated and bring intrinsic curiosity to gathering and consolidating information to continuously improve the business.
