About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to design and develop scalable data management architectures, infrastructure, and platform solutions for streaming and batch processing using Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Iceberg.

As a System Architect, you will have the chance to work on challenging projects across various industries, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise in designing and implementing data governance and data management processes will be invaluable to our team.

  • Design and Develop Scalable Data Management Solutions: Create efficient data management architectures, infrastructure, and platform solutions for streaming and batch processing using Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Iceberg.
  • Implement Data Governance Processes: Design and implement data governance and data management processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Science Team: Contribute to the development of CI/CD and MLOps processes, working closely with the Data Science team on data analysis and Machine Learning projects, including text/image analysis and predictive model building.
  • Develop Data Transformations: Develop and organize data transformations using DBT and Apache Airflow.
Requirements
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and Java/Scala, with experience in writing clean code and OOP design.
  • Big Data Technologies: Experience in designing and implementing data governance and data management processes, familiarity with Big Data technologies like Spark, Cloudera, Airflow, NiFi, Docker, Kubernetes, Iceberg, Trino or Hudi.
  • Cloud Environments: Proven expertise in implementing and deploying solutions in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and consulting experience with direct interaction with clients.
  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluent English (C1 level) is a must.
