Job Title: Enterprise Software Developer - Desktop Foundation

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Software Developer to join our Desktop Foundation team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving our CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and monitoring infrastructure.

You will work closely with other software engineers to ensure we can confidently ship and manage features in production. Your passion for creating scalable, reliable developer workflows and release pipelines will drive improvements that enable dozens of engineers to ship with confidence.

Responsibilities
  • BUILD, MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE CI/CD PIPELINES: Develop and improve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software.
  • SUPPORT SOFTWARE ENGINEERS: Collaborate with other software engineers to ensure smooth execution of tasks and feature development.
  • MONITORING INFRASTRUCTURE: Design and implement monitoring infrastructure to track system performance and detect potential issues.
Requirements
  • DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on DevOps or SRE.
  • MODERN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • CLOUD PLATFORMS: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION/CONTINUOUS DEPLOYMENT (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • SCALABLE SYSTEM DESIGN: Strong understanding of scalable system design principles and patterns.
