About this role

  • Lead the development and implementation of a long-term vision for financial planning tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.

  • Develop and execute automation and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Mentor and support team members across the global FP&A function, providing guidance and expertise as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy and systems development:

    • Define and implement a comprehensive financial planning strategy that aligns with business objectives.

    • Lead the configuration, development, and integration of financial planning tools to ensure seamless data flow.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful tool implementation.

  • Financial systems management:

    • Own the financial planning tool, ensuring it is properly configured, developed, and integrated.

    • Ensure accurate and standardized reporting, providing key insights to inform business decisions.

    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve system and data issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • User support:

    • Provide expert guidance to financial system users, resolving complex issues and promoting best practices.

    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency and confidence.

    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize system performance.

  • Financial planning processes:

    • Support the development and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

    • Validate inputs and resolve discrepancies, maintaining data integrity and consistency.

    • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions.
