Job Title: Network Engineering SpecialistAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, writing and executing comprehensive test plans for complex networking and routing protocol features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, write and execute comprehensive test plans for complex networking and routing protocol features.
  • Lead testing efforts for advanced IP/MPLS features and large-scale network environments.
  • Analyse automation regression results and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and pre-sales engineers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues and provide root cause analysis.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in service provider IP/MPLS networks or networking vendors specializing in IP/MPLS.
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L2/3VPN, TE, 1588 Protocol, and Layer 2 protocols (e.g., STP, IGMP snooping).
  • Proven hands-on experience in leading the testing of complex networking features.
  • Strong background in QA methodology and test automation practices.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with traffic generators such as IXIA.
  • CCIE / CCNP certification.
  • Experience running and analysing automation regressions.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
