We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager - Monetization to lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of our pricing, packaging, and billing experiences. About the Role
The Senior Product Manager - Monetization will be responsible for:
- Owning and evolving our monetization strategy, including pricing and packaging, as well as revenue growth.
- Collaborating with product, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to align strategy with market dynamics, competitive insights, and user needs.
- Designing seamless upgrade journeys that optimize in-app, email, and sales-assisted upgrade paths, maximizing conversion rates and user satisfaction.
- Optimizing billing processes, ensuring billing reliability, reducing payment failures, and enhancing the overall payment experience.
- Driving churn reduction initiatives by analyzing churn-related data and partnering with retention, customer success, and other teams to develop and implement strategies that proactively mitigate churn.
- Running experiments and iterating on pricing models, packaging, and upselling flows, leveraging data and user feedback to refine strategies and maximize revenue growth opportunities.
- Executing and collaborating with IT teams to manage the product backlog, ensuring efficient execution of monetization strategies and billing improvements.
- Owning monetization metrics, tracking key KPIs, and providing leadership with actionable insights, experiment results, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years in product management or growth roles, preferably within the B2B or SaaS industry.
- Proven expertise in monetization strategy, pricing strategy, or subscription management roles.
- Billing systems proficiency, including hands-on experience with payment gateways, subscription billing platforms, and optimizing payment success rates.
- Data analysis and experimentation skills, including proficiency in BI tools, A/B testing methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
- Up-to-date understanding of product growth trends and best practices.
