Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Barry Callebaut Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing all indirect spend, including operational and capital expenditures, to drive cost savings and improve efficiency.

• Manage all indirect spend, including operational and capital expenditures, to drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
• Represent the BC sourcing department in the indirect spend area for both technical and non-technical spend, advocating procurement and sourcing, and demonstrating added value for BC.
• Develop and implement purchasing processes as a constant reference for stakeholders and internal customers.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs, eliminating inefficiencies throughout the procurement cycle, and being a representative of our company's core values.
• Analyze the market to find opportunities to improve the supplier base with the best possible alternatives according to the sourcing policy.
• Develop strategies and tactics, together with the business, to give our company a competitive advantage in either technology or cost.
