Role Summary:

The Cybersecurity Operations Integration Analyst will work closely with the Head of Cybersecurity Operations Integration to onboard new technologies, business services logging feeds, and cybersecurity tooling into the Global Cybersecurity Operations Security Operation Centre (SOC).

This role requires strong technical and engagement skills to achieve desired outcomes via proactive stakeholder engagements across the technology landscape.

The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of a technology and log ingestion framework that aligns with control requirements and supports a cyber-threat intelligence led approach to detection, response, and containment of cyber-threats.

  • Knowledge of common cybersecurity tools such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus software (AV), endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, firewalls, proxies, etc.
  • Understanding of common network protocols like TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, HTTP, etc., and network protocol analysis tools.
  • Experience with enterprise technology infrastructure, platforms, and tooling, including Windows, Linux, infrastructure management, and networking hardware.
  • Familiarity with 3rd party cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with their associated security tooling and platforms.
  • Ability to respond to incidents effectively using incident response tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Knowledge of log management suites and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools like Splunk Enterprise Security or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and key control indicators (KCIs) for operational effectiveness.
  • Good knowledge of intelligence analysis principles through formal education or equivalent professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Cybersecurity Operations Integration to design and implement a comprehensive technology and log ingestion framework.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology and platform owner stakeholders to ensure effective integration of new technologies and business services logging feeds.
  • Prioritize outcomes and ensure governance across all Cyber Ops Integration activities.
  • Support the development of a cyber-threat intelligence led approach to detection, response, and containment of cyber-threats.
