Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our Index team, working on our detection platform that analyzes data from the open-source software realm. As a key member of the team, you will have a significant impact on the product's development and shape.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for individuals who possess strong technical skills and a passion for problem-solving. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code, as well as developing backend solutions and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production applications codebase
  • Write implementations of algorithms and solutions designed by our Security Research Team
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in system interfaces

You will work closely with our Security Research Team to design and implement innovative solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of our products. If you have a passion for Java development, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience with the Java language
  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience with SQL backend, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ
  • Experience with AI tools (i.e., like Cursor AI or Claude)
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
