Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the transformation of our monolithic Java application into a microservices architecture. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying new features, as well as supporting the transition from a monolithic to a microservices architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar position
  • Expertise in Java 8/21
  • Experience with large Spring + Hibernate applications
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience in GIT, Maven environment
  • Good knowledge of Apache Kafka or another message queuing system
  • Strong communication skills in English language
  • Pro-active attitude with willingness to learn new things
  • Nice to have experience with microservices

Others:

This is a long-term project with a focus on developing new functionalities (90%). You will be part of a scrum team and work collaboratively with other team members to analyze and prepare requirements for new features. You will also participate in cross-team synchronization, coordinate with other teams working on related system components, and take care of code quality, participating in code review and continuous improvement of development practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Git, Maven, and Apache Kafka, as well as excellent communication skills.
